WHAT WILL THE REFERENDUM ALLOW THE DISTRICT TO CONTINUE TO DO?
Achieve at high levels by maintaining current academic programs, curriculum resources, and access to updated instructional materials and technology, ensuring alignment with evolving educational trends and best practices to support student learning and achievement.
Ensure our buildings and grounds are well-maintained by funding routine maintenance projects that preserve functionality, safety, and longevity.
Attract and retain staff by remaining regionally competitive with compensations and benefits.
The Board of Education is asking voters to consider the following referendum question:
$3,850,000 per year for 5 years to support operations in the School District of Holmen.
Shall the School District of Holmen, LaCrosse County Wisconsin, be allowed to exceed the revenue limit specified in § 121.91, Wis. Stats., by up to $3,850,000 per year commencing with the 2025-2026 school year and continuing through the 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029, and 2029-2030 school years on a nonrecurring basis for the purposes of operational and maintenance expenses, including for educational programming and employee compensation and benefits?
